Who should use the mPayy Personal Account?
Anyone who wants to shop online or send money to friends and family can use mPayy.
Link your checking account in order to fund your secure debit transactions. Credit cards can not be used to fund your mPayy transactions.
mPayy accounts without linked bank accounts can be funded from other mPayy accounts, and person-to-person transfers are free.
Can I make credit card payments with mPayy?
mPayy is not a credit card processor. mPayy enables you to accept secure debit payments from people’s checking accounts. mPayy hooks directly up to your checking account, not yourdebit card.
By not accepting any card-based payments, mPayy is able to offer you the best payment processing prices to merchants and free person-to-person money transfers.
Why do I need to give mPayy my cell phone number?
mPayy uses your cell phone number as your unique identifier. You can log into your mPayy account or and authorize payments through mPayy’s ecommerce partners simply by using your cell phone number and password.
mPayy will send you an SMS text message with a 4-digit verification code when you open your mPayy account in order to verify ownership of that phone number. You must verify your account to receive payments.
Is mPayy secure?
mPayy protects all member data utilizing 128-bit TDES encryption technology. Even mPayy staff does not have access to your password or financial information for your protection.
How do I send money with mPayy?
mPayy enables you to send money through its website, or with your mobile device from mPayy’s mobile site, or an application directly on your device.
All you need is the recipient’s cell phone number, or mPayy account nickname to send them money. When you shop online with mPayy, all you need is your own cell phone number, or nickname, and password, and you can check out directly from the merchant’s website.
Can I shop or send money with my credit card?
mPayy is not a credit card processor. mPayy enables you to make payments directly from your checking account. When you open an account, you will link your checking account to fund your transactions. Credit and debit cards are not accepted by mPayy because they are very expensive for both the sender and the receiver; there are high fees associated.
Can I open an account and send money today?
In order to maintain the safety of all its members, mPayy performs both an identity check, and a bank account verification. Assuming you pass both, your mPayy account will be immediately available for making transactions.
Otherwise, mPayy will make a small deposit into your bank that you then input into mPayy in order to activate your bank account.
How long will my transactions take and how will I know when they are done?
mPayy transactions can take several days to complete. For person-to-person transfers, please allow up to 4 business days for the transaction to reach the “Settled” state. For purchases, the seller may not receive their funds for 3 business days.

How do I accept payments with mPayy?
All your customers need from you to pay you is your cell phone number or your mPayy account nickname.
If you are an online auction seller, you can list mPayy as payment method, and send mPayy’s Invoice Links, or add mPayy directly to your Seller’s Profile on iOffer.com. If you want to add mPayy to your website, you can use mPayy’s Buy Now buttons, add mPayy to your Magento shopping cart, or develop to mPayy’s API’s.
How much does it cost to sell with mPayy?
mPayy charges $0.20 + 2.00% for each sale you make. mPayy also charges $15 for chargebacks pursuant to mPayy’s Member Agreement. There are no other fees.
How long do mPayy transactions take?
mPayy transactions will take 3 business days to settle into your mPayy account. You will receive an SMS text message and an email when the transaction is authorized, and another email when the transaction settles.
How long will my transactions take and how will I know when they are done?

Why does mPayy want my cell phone number?
Your mPayy ID is always your cell phone number. So, you can shop or send money with just your cell phone number and password.
mPayy has ported all of its capabilities to a mobile website accessible from any phone that can connect to the mobile web at http://mobile.mpayy.com.
mPayy also offers iPhone and Android applications for those devices.
How and why must I "Verify Mobile Device"?
In the process of opening your account, mPayy will send you an SMS text message with a 4-digit code. You will provde that code to mPayy, and your mobile device will be activated.
You must verify your mobile device before you can receive payments.
Is mPayy going to send me text messages?
mPayy will ONLY send you text messages for the purposes of activating your mPayy account and informing you of transactions.
You will receive an SMS text message when you open your account or link a new phone to your mPayy account.
You will also receive SMS text message receipts when you send or receive payments.
How do I withdraw funds from my mPayy account?
mPayy provides access to the withdrawal functionality from any of its online or mobile websites, as well as the iPhone and Android applications.
How long will it take to withdraw money into my bank account?
When you authorize a withdrawal, mPayy will move the money into your bank account that night provided the authorization was made before mPayy’s day end. Otherwise, it will move the next night.
It may take a day or two for your bank to provide access to that money.
Will mPayy hold my funds?
In order to protect mPayy buyers and ensure they receive the items they buy, mPayy may hold funds for up to 30 days.
mPayy will display your Current Balance and your Available Balance on the Withdrawal screen. Current Balance funds are good, and items should be shipped.
When the funds are available for withdrawal, they will be displayed within your Available Balance.
What if I don't have a bank account?
If you don’t have a bank account, you can transfer funds to someone who does have a bank account and they can withdraw the funds for you.
